Instructions for Using VIREX Products
VIREX is a professional tool designed for the efficient removal of old silicone, adhesives, paint, and other stubborn materials. Its ergonomic design and protected blade provide complete control and prevent damage to surfaces.
Surface Preparation: Before use, clean the area where you will be removing silicone or other materials. Ensure the surface is dry and stable.
Material Removal: Hold the knife at an angle of approximately 30–45° to the surface. Apply even pressure and pull the blade along the material you wish to remove. Repeat the process as needed for harder or thicker layers.
Safety Instructions:
- Do not point the blade towards yourself.
- After use, clean the blade and store the knife out of reach of children.
Complete control: The ergonomic handle and precision blade provide full control during use without risk of injury.
Maximum protection: The transparent cap safely covers the blade while allowing a clear view of it—providing extra safety and easy storage after use.
Blade Replacement:
- The blade has two working edges. When one side is worn, simply flip it and continue using it.
- When the other side is also worn, replace the blade with a new one.
- Replacement blades are available from us—the code is indicated on the product’s backing card.
Maintenance
- After each use, wipe the knife with a dry cloth.
- If necessary, remove silicone residues with a mild cleaning agent.
- Do not use aggressive solvents that could damage the handle or the knife housing.
Important: Regular blade replacement or flipping ensures optimal performance, clean cutting, and a longer knife lifespan.
